0Alton Edsel “Eddie” Martin, 80, of Fayetteville, passed away Jan. 4, 2014.
He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was self-employed and owned Martin Flourescent Company for years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Geneva Martin; son Marty Martin; grandchildren Angela, Sheila, Jessica, William, and Rylee; and great-grandchildren Kelsey and Paisley.
A funeral service was held Mon., Jan. 6, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
Reverend Charles Grovenstein officiated. The burial followed at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.
The family received friends Mon. from noon-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
