Mrs. Melba Taylor of Peachtree City passed away Jan. 7, 2012 after a 6 month battle with cancer. She was employed by Avis Rent A Car at the Atlanta Airport for 35 years.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Edwards and son, Michael Lamar Taylor and is survived by her husband of 45 years Felton Taylor of Peachtree City; son, Keith Taylor and his wife Tammy of Fayetteville; step-father, Henry G. Edwards of Jackson; sister, Daphne Ray of Hiram; brother, Preston Edwards of McDonough; grandchildren, Austin, Brock and Colin Taylor and 1 niece and 3 nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Pastor Robert G. Langley officiated. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
