Fayette County’s young musicians continue to hit the high notes with yet another honor given to some talented high school and middle school students.

More than 20 Fayette orchestra students have been chosen as members of the 2015 All State Orchestra that will perform during the All State Festival February 26-28 in Athens.

Hosted by the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA), the All State Orchestra brings together the best-of-the-best middle and high school musicians in the state and offers students the opportunity to collaborate with their peers from other school systems, and learn from guest directors.
