Man mugged inside F’ville Home Depot, iPhone snatched

For the victim who had his iPhone grabbed off his belt Sunday inside the Home Depot in Fayetteville, it is a cautionary tale. The man was with his young daughters when someone came up behind him, snatched his phone and fled the area.

The incident occurred in the early afternoon hours Sunday when the victim was approached from behind by a man that slammed into him and grabbed the iPhone from his belt, said Fayetteville Det. Mike Whitlow. The blow was sufficiently hard that it nearly knocked the thief onto the ground, Whitlow said.

The victim temporarily gave chase, as did a Home Depot employee. Whitlow said the man, described as a black male with short hair and wearing a yellow t-shirt and blue jeans, entered a white vehicle that exited the shopping center onto Ga. Highway 85 heading south.

The victim told The Citizen that the theft was brazen. It happened inside the store to someone who is six feet tall and weighs more than 200 pounds, he said.

At least Wal Mart will be a safe place to go (for a while)

Democrats boycott Walmart over voter ID laws

Despite the complaints, several states attorneys claim that voter fraud is a growing concern, adding that requiring voters to show identification is not overly burdensome.

Just another liberal mob without solutions. The only thing that they know how to do is stir up the ignorant dumb masses for a lost cause.

Joe - It's no laughing matter

This week, four Democratic officials in Indiana were hit with felony charges related to petition fraud in the state’s 2008 primary. The prosecutions are a result of the local South Bend Tribune newspaper’s investigation last fall into “hundreds of county residents’ signatures” forged on petitions used to put Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the Democratic primary ballot. At least two whistle-blowing government officials came forward to expose the forgery racket, which court documents say was formulated by Democratic Party officials inside local party headquarters.

Like I said folks. These worthless cowardly thugs are getting bolder and bolder every day. If this thug would have tried that on me I would have shot him dead right there.

I hear there's a lottery drawing this Friday. About a half a billion to the winner. If I win, I think I just might move.

Cy and just how far do you think you will get on that bicycle of

yours before your coffee klatch buddies stop you, besides when I win that big one I will not only buy the beer, but the nachos and whatever else and maybe even Taco Max--but we will have to have Kevin attend.

you'll certainly have enough money to buy plenty of land; high fences; and great locks. Good luck!

That seems to work for Ted Turner but I was thinking more like an island with a nice cove for the fishing boat and the seaplane.

Most of Teddy Boy's property is in states where fences are used to keep livestock in not used to keep criminals out. Yeah, they have some crime, but not a lot of that in Wyoming & Montana. Besides, you ain't going nowhere!

Please update your avatar, your prices are wrong.

DM will win and give all of it to the government because she cares and she knows that she doesn't deserve it because she didn't earn it. Besides the lotto is nothing but a tax on the poor so the rich can send their kids to college .... ;-)

Lindsey - Yes

and he's doing it too.

Maybe he should read, "The Way the World Works" by Jude Wanniski

but then again, he wouldn't want to learn from history.

It's called dreaming. Given the odds, I'll drive to work next Monday like a bunch of other folks. Oh well.

Ah, but Cy and DM, where else can you buy such a dream for

only one small dollar! What a bargain---a whole week of planning your new life with all those goodies and imagining all the good you can do for others---but then what a let down when those numbers come up and you don't even win two dollars to buy two tickets for the next 10 million drawing. Wonder how much mayhem is caused by people suffering the effects of not winning. At least some really big depressions I would bet--get that poor cat and dog gets a lot of kicks!

Well, it is Friday evening 1l:21 pm---exactly 21 min. since I

learned I am not a millionaire. In fact, not even a thousandaire. In fact, I am even short the money I paid for my Mega tickets but hey, like Scarlett said "Tomorrow is another day"---and another jackpot------Ah, how do you put a price on dreams?????

Sorry you did not win but glad you will still be here with the rest of us. Really, if we all have to suffer why should you be any different? LOL

has been fun. Figured out how I'd invest; what charities I'd give to; how I'd handle my children and grands and greats; . . . and then I find out I didn't win!!!!! Reality sets in!

I bet that made for some funny security footage. Like something from an old Three Stooges skit. Speaking of security footage, I guess they still haven't got around to installing any cameras in the parking lots throughout the pavilion.

Too bad the thug didn't fall and have the iPhone impale into his stupid head. Seriously, he could have sold some drugs at the Publix in Tyrone and bought an iPhone.

Ahh....life in the ghetto.
