Expect traffic delays in Peachtree City this weekend near triathlon

Residents are being warned that significant traffic delays could occur Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. near Lake McIntosh. The annual adult triathlon has moved locations from Lake Peachtree to Lake McIntosh. The route travels from Lake McIntosh up and down Dividend Drive onto McIntosh Trail, Robinson Road, Spear Road, Paschal Road and back onto Dividend Drive.

Twenty-five Peachtree City police officers, sheriff's deputies, and Peachtree City Auxiliary Police Force officers have been hired to control traffic for this event.
