Kling heads to New York for theater career

Rebecca Kristen Kling, daughter of Dan and Sharon Kling, of Peachtree City received her Masters of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Alabama in May.
She was honored with a full scholarship and assistantship as a graduate teaching assistant.
She additionally taught acting classes to under graduate theatre majors.
During her undergraduate studies, at Kennesaw State University, Kling studied at the Gaiety School in Dublin, Ireland. She made her debut as Imogene in “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at the Southside Theatre Guild when she was 10 years old. She worked with Hal Holbrook at the Hartford Stage in Hartford, Conn. during an internship.
Additionally, she performed with the Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre, the North Georgia Theatre, and local Atlanta theatres. She has signed with an agent in New York City and will be relocating there in June. She will be on a national tour of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” during November and December.
