Looking for USA’s Most Patriotic Town: Is it Peachtree City?
Rand McNally representatives Chris Staudinger (driving and saluting) and Tawny Clark (holding the video camera) lead an impromptu decorated golf cart parade around the parking lot at Drake Field in Peachtree City June 28. The pair were in town to assess the city’s patriotic flavor for Rand McNally’s upcoming “Best of the Road” series determined to find the best small towns in America. Peachtree City is one of six cities in the running for Most Patriotic Town. Photo/Ben Nelms.
Riding silly looking golf carts around with flags hanging off them isn't patriotism! Neither is saying, "remember," our troops, or never having fought with a gun for your country!
It is like saying "family Values," or "Judeo-Christian" principles.
Neither has any meaning or prompts any action that is useful.
Form a group to help Fayette families who were left at home.
A city that spends the other 364 days a year flying the rebel flag doesn’t exactly strike me as all that Patriotic . . . Patriotism is a love of the entire country, not just one region that can’t seem to forget one war . . .
Patriot: A person who pits his country against another and then proceeds to pit his state against another, and then his County against another, and then his friends against other groups.
The original "patriots' were traitors to their current country, England, but "patriots" to the United States of America, except for those here who opposed them. Indians and Blacks did not count.

You would think the most patriotic town would give military discounts everywhere. Could you please send me a list?
