The end of the rainbow

David Workman tells how he arrived at the end of the rainbow: “On July 19, Barry Jordan and I were riding toward Ga. Highway 54 on Ebenezer Road when we went through a heavy rain storm and then the sun came out. To my right I could see a huge very bright rainbow … and as we turned right onto Hwy. 54 east toward Fayetteville, there it was [inset above]. We could see it arching downward over the trees about 100 yards in front of us, touching the road. I quickly grabbed my cellphone and took a picture through the windshield, and as we got closer I took another as we both knew that was the end of the rainbow. … Barry and I are both PTC residents. If you look at the picture very closely, it is a very bright gold at the spot where it hits the ground. I am guessing that is [why people say] there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.” Photos/David Workman.
