Mrs. Minnie Cavalli, a long time native of Fayetteville, Ga., passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 shortly after celebrating her 96th birthday.

She will always be remembered by her smile, sense of humor, gentle nature and always a pleasant and good word for all.

She was an expert seamstress and enjoyed making clothes for family, friends and for profit. She also enjoyed cooking for family on holidays and was always a constant companion to her husband, Lou, on many church outings and volunteer activities. She loved her Lord, her Church and especially her Sunday School Class.

Minnie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. You could always depend on her loving kindness. Minnie shared her gentle nature and sense of humor with all of the many caregivers at Dogwood Forest where she lived for the last 5 year . She was loved by all who gave her wonderful care.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Cavalli; son, Richard Cavalli and is survived by her sons, Fred Cavalli and his wife Mai of Decatur, Jim Cavalli and his wife Linda of Fayetteville; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11 o’clock at Holly Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Steve Hester officiating. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www.parrottfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Fayetteville First Baptist, 205 East Stonewall Ave. Fayetteville, Ga., 30214.

The family will receive friends two hours before the service starts at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, 770-964-4800
