Local American legion post wins ‘Newsletter of the Year’ award

Fayette County Post 105 of The American Legion was selected to receive the 2011 Georgia American Legion Press Association “Newsletter of the Year” Award in Division 3 (medium sized posts). John Pierson, Dept of Georgia Junior Vice Commander is shown presenting the award to Denny Leander, Post 105 Commander. Roger Bober, Fayetteville was the Post 105 Newsletter Editor but was unable to attend the presentation.
