Elizabeth Ann Maas Roughton, 86, of Fayetteville, died August 18, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her husband William L. Roughton, son Albert C. Roughton, a brother, and two sisters.

She is survived by son William L. Roughton, Jr. and Patricica Hoag of Fairfax Station, VA, and son Michael D. Colton and his wife Rebecca of Ames, IA; daughter Patricia A. Geronimos of Fayetteville; grandchildren Christopher Geronimos of Savannah, Daniel and Kelly Geronimos of McDonough, Geoffrey Roughton of Missouri, Matthew Roughton of Richmond, VA, Nicholas Roughton of Iowa, Rebecca Geronimos of Savannah, Maeve Roughton of New York City, and Julia Roughton of Richmond, VA; great-grandchild Sean Geronimos of McDonough; and brother Francis and Joan Maas of New Jersey.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 at 11:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at C.J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville . Prayers will follow visitation at 6:00 PM.
