Four decades may have passed since they served, but these Vietnam Veterans looked as if they were ready to go back to war as they rode through downtown Fayetteville in a special parade in their honor Saturday morning. The parade was followed by a ceremony at the Southern Ground Amphitheater, all designed to give Vietnam soldiers a “welcome home” they didn’t get when the war ended thanks to unpopularity in the court of public opinion.
