Hopewell’s Fall Festival is tonight
Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will host a Fall Festival  tonight, Oct. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. The festival will feature “Touch the Truck,” with fire trucks, trash trucks, and other vehicles, as well as Face Painting/Tattoo Station, Bouncy Castle, Decorate a Pumpkin, Mummy Wrap, and a costume contest with prizes for ages 3-12. Hot dogs, snacks and  Trick or Treat candy will be available.  The church is at 351 Jenkins Rd., directly across from Sandy Creek High. For more information call 770-306-7537.

Providence Trunk or Treat starts at 6:30
Providence UMC invites the community to Trunk or Treat this evening, Oct. 29, from  6:30-7:30 p.m. in the front church parking lot. The event will include fun for the kids with inflatables.” Children should wear non-scary costumes. Parents should drive to the back parking lot and walk around to the front of the Children’s Building for fall fun. Providence is at 592 Bernhard Rd.  between Redwine Road and Ga. Highway 85. Fall Fest is tomorrow at PTCUMC

St. Paul’s plans Trunk or Treat Friday
St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, 700 Ardenlee Pkwy.,  Peachtree City, will have Trunk or Treat Friday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. in the church’s upper parking lot. Lots of candy will be available.

Wooley’s Fall Festival set for Oct. 31
A free, fun for the whole family Fall Festival will be held Friday,  Oct. 31, from 5:30.- 8 p.m. at Woolsey Baptist Church The event will feature  food, inflatables, popcorn, paint a pumpkin, trunk or treat, candy, hayride and live music. Veterans Tribute concert is Saturday
Veterans Tribute, a concert, will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. Holy Trinity Choirs will combine with Music Alive, a community chorus, to present a concert of patriotic pieces. Claire Stroud, music director at Holy Trinity, and Linda Hooper, director of Music Alive, are joining choirs again to bring this evening of music.

Special GriefShare session set
Facing the  holidays after the death of a loved one can be a difficult time. GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays is a special one session program to help  not only survive the holidays, but to find strength, healing and tools to help move forward. The class will be held on Sunday, Nov. 2 from 2-4 p.m. at Fayette Presbyterian Church, 791 Forrest Ave., Fayetteville. Call the church, 770-461-7147, to register.

Prophet Training sessions planned
 Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) in Fairburn  will host free Prophet Chambers Training on two consecutive Sundays Nov, 2 and 9, at 6 p.m. each evening. The speaker will be Prophet Timothy Frazier. All apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are encouraged to attend.
