Barry Hugh Wilkinson, 49, died suddenly on Thursday, Oct. 13 2011 at his home in Fayetteville, Ga. He was a loving husband and father; his greatest pastime was spending time with his family.
Barry was born to Hugh and Mildred Wilkinson in 1962 in Glendale, Calif. He married Sherry Fetterolf in May of 1987. Barry was a graduate of the University of Southern California and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a pilot for Delta Airlines.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sherry Wilkinson and his 3 children: Brandy Wilkinson, Seth Wilkinson, and Luke Wilkinson all of Fayetteville, Ga. Also surviving are his mother, Mildred Wilkinson and brother Paul Wilkinson of California. His father preceded him in death.
His memorial service will be held at 1p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the scholarship the family has set up for AFROTC at Auburn University with Barry Wilkinson’s name in the memo.
