Mrs. Margie L. Smith of Fayetteville passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Smith; daughter, Sue Cross; grandchildren, Jeff Thompson, Aimee Smith; sister, JoAnn Watkins; brother, Charles (Sonny) Parris and is survived by her son, Jim Smith of Jackson; daughter, Kathy Smith of Fayetteville; sister, Betty Douglas; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hines officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery.
