Martha Luzio of Park Ridge, Ill. announces the engagement of her daughter, Krista Dana Luzio, to Evan Michael Smola, son of Michael and Janet Smola of Tyrone.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Leon Luzio. She is a 2005 graduate of Butler University and a 2008 graduate of DePaul University College of Law. She is a personal injury/medical malpractice attorney in Chicago, Ill.

The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens and a 2008 graduate of DePaul University College of Law. He is also a personal injury/medical malpractice attorney in Chicago.

A spring 2012 wedding is planned in Chicago.
