Rev. William Jack Mathis, III, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away November 22, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Trudy Mathis of Woodstock; son, Dr. Tim Mathis and his wife Louanne of Danville, Ky.; daughters, Vickie Terry and her husband Rich of Brightwaters, N.Y.; Joy Ballard and her husband Mark of Peachtree City; Loyce Jane “Misty” Smith and her husband David of Magnolia, Ky.; stepdaughters, Alice Fall of Canton; Debra Kinnett and her husband Gary of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Caleb and Janie Mathis; Philip Mathis; Joseph Mathis; Tara Seay; Justin Terry; Ryan and Kammie Jo Terry; Rachel and Jason McCard; Bethany and Chris Grant; Leah and Tray Champion; Victoria Smith; William Smith; Savannah Smith; Caroline Smith; Kevin and Diana Kinnett; Brian Kinnett and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Tim Mathis and Rev. John Conrad officiating. Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to First Baptist Church (SBC), 1570 North Danville Bypass, Danville, Ky. 40422 in care of Carmen Best.
