A CHRISTMAS CAROL
Tuesday, Dec. 16 – Sunday, Dec. 21, 8 p.m. (Thursday – Saturday); 3 p.m. (Sunday) ,Newnan Theater Company, 24 1st Ave., Newnan The Fandale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society’s Production of “A Christmas Carol” features a fictional amateur drama group that stumbles in its attempts to bring to life on stage Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Future and Present. In the midst of a blizzard, most of the cast is stuck in transit. The three ladies who have made it to the theatre decide the show must go on. FANTASY OF LIGHTS Monday, Dec. 1 – Tuesday, Dec. 30, 6 p.m., Callaway Gardens, Hwy 27, Pine Mountain Callaway Gardens’ Fantasy In Lights is not only the South’s most spectacular holiday light and sound show, but one of the world’s “Top 10 Places to See Holiday Lights,” as named by National Geographic Traveler.

WINTER WONDERLAND Monday, Dec. 1 – Wednesday, Dec. 31, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Monday – Saturday); noon – 5 p.m. (Sunday), Fernbank Museum, 767 Clifton Rd., NE, Atlanta Celebrate holidays, traditions and cultures during Fernbank’s 5th annual Winter Wonderland.
This holiday-inspired exhibition features trees and other displays decorated by local cultural partners that recognize celebrations including Christmas, Hanukkah and the Festival of Lights, as well as traditions and practices like origami, indigenous art and national symbols.

HOLIDAY LIGHT SPECTACULAR GIFT OF LIGHTS Monday, Dec. 1 – Friday, Jan. 3, 6 – 9 p.m. (Sunday – Thursday); 6 – 10 p.m. (Friday – Saturday), Atlanta Motor Speedway, 1500 Tara Place, Hampton Celebrate the holiday season as Atlanta Motor Speedway turns into one of the area’s biggest drive-through Christmas light parks!

THE PINK PIG Monday, Dec. 1 – Sunday, Jan. 4, various times, Macy’s at Lenox Square, upper level parking deck, 3393 Peachtree Rd., NE, Atlanta General Admission: $3 per ride. Hop aboard this 60-year Atlanta tradition and ride Priscilla the Pink Pig on train tracks through a life-sized storybook. Before leaving the giant, pink 1950s-themed tent, peel off the much anticipated “I Rode the Pink Pig” sticker and wear it proudly.
