UPDATE: Dec. 12, 2 p.m. — Peachtree City police are asking for help locating a suspect in an armed robbery the occurred during the late afternoon hours on Dec. 11 at the Wisdom Shell store on Wisdom Road at Ga. Highway 74. Department spokesman Mark Brown said a man entered the store, produced a handgun and demanded cash.
Brown said customers were in the store and in the parking lot at the time of the robbery. There were no altercations or injuries during the robbery, Brown added.
The suspect, a short black male of thin build and wearing green pants and a green hoodie, was last seen running north in the area of Wisdom Road, Brown said.
Brown said a tan passenger vehicle might have been involved in the incident.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call 911.
