Seth Warren Yetter, age 25, of Peachtree City

On Saturday Dec. 10, 2011, 25-year-old Seth Warren Yetter died unexpectedly in his home in Greenwich Village, New York.

Seth led a life that was nothing short of fulfilling as he accomplished many respectable achievements.

Seth was born in Omaha, Neb. on February 21, 1986 to mother Dana and father Mathew and grew up in Peachtree City, Ga.

Seth graduated from McIntosh High School in 2004 in Peachtree City where he was a four-year letterman in track and field and in football, an active member of the yearbook, president of the nature society and a national honors society member. He also took a mission trip with Teen Missions International to Ireland during his high school years.

Seth then went on to attend Wake Forest University where he was a division one track athlete high jumper, president of the entrepreneurship society and received his bachelors degree in Economics. During his time as a student Seth also participated in an internship at a local bank in Greeley, Col. which then led to his further accomplishments in his career.

Upon graduation Seth immediately received a job at Bank of America as a global risk analyst and then, most recently, went on to be a financial analyst for PPM America in Manhattan, New York.

Seth was a vivacious young man with a thirst for adventure and fun. Anyone who knew him remembers him with a constant smile on his face. Seth’s hobbies included fishing along with volunteering for organizations such as the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He loved being surrounded by his friends and family and never turned down any opportunity that was presented to him. Seth’s most famous motto that we all hope to live by is “have a little adventure every day.”

Seth is survived by parents Dana Dix and Mathew Yetter along with step parents Kevin Cornish, Toni Manley, Leann Yetter and Thomas Dix and grandparents Karen and Don Wittnam, Keith and Jan Cornish and Mary lee Peoplite. He leaves behind a sister, Hannah Cornish and a brother Jens Yetter along with step-brothers Seth Davis and Matthew Dix. Seth also leaves behind a wonderful girlfriend, and his biggest fan, Michelle White. He will be missed by many more and will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at Adamson Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church of Greeley, 1321 9th Avenue Greeley, Col. 80634. Followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Seth Yetter and all proceeds will go to charities of the family’s choosing in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, Col. 80634.
