Toys for Tots Drop Off Locations at City Facilities
Peachtree City has Toys For Tots collection boxes at all fire stations, the Peachtree City Library, City Hall, Planning & Building Department, The Gathering Place, and Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy (no glass toys or toy guns, please).

Last year, Fayette/Coweta Toys for Tots provided toys to over 4000 children in our two counties. The need is expected to be even greater this year so please find a way to help if you can. A complete list of toy collection sites, volunteer opportunities, and requests for assistance can be found at http://newnan-ga.toysfortots.org. You can also make monetary donations at that website or mail checks payable to Toys for Tots to 1029 Peachtree Pkwy N, Suite 133, PTC GA 30269. Monetary donations are used to purchase toys for local children. Requests for assistance can be made on the website and will be closed on December 9 so the toys can be delivered before Christmas. Project Love Provides Holiday Meals to Homebound Senior Citizens
Is someone you know going hungry simply because they have difficulty preparing a meal? Many local seniors live alone and have health conditions that make cooking a challenge, with limited incomes making it difficult to maintain a healthy diet. Each year, Fayette Senior Services (FSS) volunteers deliver over 40,000 meals to more than 250 homebound and semi-homebound older adults in Fayette County. The general funding FSS receives for Meals On Wheels only covers the cost of weekly meals, not additional holiday meals.

However, the Project Love Holiday Meal Campaign helps bridge that gap. With support from residents and businesses, hundreds of seniors will experience the love of the community and the comfort and joy of having a good nutritious meal on holidays throughout the year.

Fayette Senior Services is asking families and businesses to donate to Project Love to help purchase extra holiday meals. Donations also help provide doctor-prescribed dietary supplements and emergency, non-refrigerated meals in case meals can’t be delivered due to severe weather. For as little as $10, two meals can be provided for a senior. Donation forms are available at www.FayetteLifeEnrichment.org (online donations accepted) and at Fayette Senior Services Life Enrichment Center, 4 Center Drive in Fayetteville. Checks should be made payable to Fayette Senior Services. Credit cards accepted.
