Clayton State to offer minor in Film

Clayton State University is positioning itself to be a part of the rapidly growing film industry that is about to take shape in Fayette County. The university announced recently that a Film minor will be offered in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts.

“In response to the explosion of the film industry in the metro Atlanta area, Clayton State introduces the Department of Visual and Performing Arts’ new Film Minor,” said university relations director John Shiffert. The Covenant Presbyterian Church Builders Sunday School Class will journey through a few chapters of the Westminster Confession of Faith this Spring and invites members of the community to join in. Ban big garbage trucks at 4:30 a.m.

Many years ago we moved to a quiet Ebenezer Church Road from the Carlings Brewery area in Atlanta for peace and quiet of a farm/residential area.

Wow, what has happened?

At 4:30 in the a.m., we are awakened by an industrial-size garbage truck picking up an industrial-size garbage bin with the clang/bang that wakes me from a quiet sleep. The truck then roars back down the road and out of the neighborhood. Read More»

Suspense story opening in Fairburn

The play tells the story about a cool-as-ice psychopath smooth talking his way into the home of an unsuspecting, recently blinded housewife. Unbeknownst to her, she is harboring a dangerous prize, and he’ll use every trick to get it. Spend an evening on the edge of your seat with the genre Hitchcock made classic.
