Rose Frances Muzio, 90, of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away July 15, 2014.

Mrs. Muzio was born July 10, 1924 in Schenectady, N.Y. to the late Joseph & Constance Coppola. She was a former secretary of The Rotterdam, N.Y. Women's Republican Club; she also retired after many years with General Electric. Mrs. Muzio will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Clara S. Fowler, 91, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Funeral services and a celebration of her life were held at 2 p.m., Monday at Pine Forest Baptist Church with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Norm Yukers and the Rev. Shirley Joyce Cline Pontius, 79, died July 4, 2014.

She was born May 27, 1935 in Akron, Ohio. She was a graduate of Garfield High School, Firestone Park. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Lesley Cline and Irene Kimes Cline, who died in 1983, and her husband of 54 years, Paul E. Pontius, who died June 30, 2014.

Her survivors include a daughter, Leslie and Mark Patterson, grandchildren, Jared Patterson and Kyle Patterson, all of Akron, and a sister, Carolyn Cline Cary, Fayetteville, Ga., nieces and nephews. Read More»

Maria Teresa Hernandez of Peachtree City, Ga. was first and foremost a loving mother and businesswoman. Maria was born in 1926 into a privileged family in Bogota, Colombia as the great-granddaughter of two presidents of Colombia. She was raised in a family that believed everyone deserved certain rights and freedom and she became a political activist working with the underground movement to defeat communism in her native country of Colombia. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Mary Blaney Piper; son David and Heidi Piper; daughter Kelly and Michael Donnelly, grandsons Zane & Stephanie Piper, True Piper, Zachary Leppert and great grandson Van Reid Piper.
