Mr. Donnie Poss of Fayetteville passed away May 30, 2013.

He is survived by his parents, Tommy and Charlotte Poss of Fayetteville; daughter, Dana Morris and her husband Jeff of Fayetteville; son, Dusty Poss and his wife Amanda of Grantville; brother, Chuck Poss of Peachtree City; grandchildren, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, Kelsey and Kadyn.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 5 p.m. at Harps Crossing Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Parker and Rev. Dennis Watson officiating.

Mrs. Isabelle B. Thoman, 94, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday June 1, 2013.

Mrs. Thoman was preceded in death by her husband Stanley B. Thoman.

She is survived by her children, Joan Neeld and her husband Paul of Peachtree City, Barbara Moyer of Tamarac, Fla.; Bruce Thoman of Peachtree City; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Conly Brooks, Jr. of New Jersey, John Brooks of Pennsylvania.

Darren James Smith, 53, of Fayetteville

Darren James Smith, 53, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 from complications arising from ALS, after suffering for 10 years but never giving into it.

He was born March 16, 1960 in Kenner, La. to William Frank Smith and Margherita Smith; siblings, Denise Cain, Karen Lewis and Judy Moore.

Darren worked for the Tiburon Corporation managing resorts but began his career working for Hilton Hotels Corporation followed by Nobel House Management Corporation.

Clyde Brunelle “Bru” Thompson, 73, passed from this life into his eternal glory on May 21, 2013.

He spent his life as a prime example of how to imitate his personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved everyone with a Christ-like love and served others in many different ways. Whether he was painting, singing, working, writing or caretaking, he did it with an air of excellence as he taught others how to truly live for Jesus.

Mr. Clark H. West, age 78, of Fayetteville, passed away, May 22, 2013.

Clark was a 40 year member of New Hope Baptist Church. He retired from the state of Georgia with 34 years of service. He served in the US Army, 81St ARCOM division with the rank of Sgt. He was the owner of West Grading and Landscaping for 45 years. Clark was also associated with Ford-Stewart Funeral Home for 16 years.

Richard Joseph Seebeck

Richard Joseph (Dick) Seebeck, 86, of Peachtree City, died May 22, 2013 at home after a long battle with COPD.

He was born September 5, 1926 in Long Island, N.Y., where he met and married his wife Brita Evelyn Breitz on March 29, 1947.

He served in the US Navy, Pacific Theater in WW II. Following his military service, he worked for Grumman Aircraft in New York, then joined National Cash Register as a service technician in 1946. He retired from NCR, Peachtree City in 1989. He was an avid fisherman after he retired. Read More»
