Elizabeth Ann Pope Hagan

Mrs. Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Pope Hagan, age 76, departed this life for her home with her Savior, Jesus Christ on Mon., March 31, 2014.

She was born on June 9, 1937 to the late Samuel and Mabel Pope. She was a registered nurse trained in infection control in A.P.I.C. She was employed at Baroness Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. and most recent Newnan Hospital.

Mrs. Alley Faye Davidson, age 87, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014.

She was born on June 23, 1926, in Morgan County, Ky., to the late Robert and Lucy Adkins. John Richard Farr, 79, of Peachtree City, passed away March 25, 2014.

He is survived by his wife Lenora Farr of Peachtree City; daughter Len Blalock of Fayetteville; son Richard (Laura) Farr of McDonough; grandson Christopher Farr of McDonough; brothers Tommy (Brenda) Farr of Canton and Gene (Marjory) Farr of Atlanta; sisters Eloise Bowers of Marietta and Norma Patton of Canton; also numerous nieces & nephews.

Dr. Brian "Doc" Jefferson, 72, of Tyrone, Ga. passed away Sun., Mar. 23, 2014 at Hospice Atlanta.

He was born Aug. 2, 1941 in Wareham, Mass. to the late George Jefferson & Avis Rider Jefferson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Raymond Jefferson.

Reverend Frank O. Klein, 93, of Peachtree City, passed away March 24, 2014.

He had been the visitation Pastor for Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church and known as "Father Frank."

He graduated from Capital University and Evangelical Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. He was a Pastor at Bethany Lutheran Church in Bethel Park, Pa.; started a mission church in Suitland, Md. (Bethany Lutheran); Pastor of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Lorain, Ohio; and founding Pastor of Hope Lutheran Church in Port St. Lucie, Fla. He was president of Kiwanis Clubs in Ohio and Florida. Henry "Andy" Anderson, Jr., 96, of Peachtree City, passed away March 22, 2014.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was also a sales supervisor and price coordinator for Associated Grocers Co-op, Inc.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife Geri Anderson; brother Howell P. Anderson and grandson Derek Dyer.

Avery Bailey age 89 of Locust Grove

Avery (A.O.) Bailey age 89 of Locust Grove, Ga. passed away on March 23, 2014. He was a loving and generous husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

A.O. was a proud World War II veteran who served his country in the Air Force. He was based in London and flew 25 raids over enemy lines in the B-17 as a flight engineer/gunner. After the war, he worked in the aviation field as a pilot and mechanic for Eastern and Piedmont Airlines. A.O. retired from Airlift International. Read More»
