Henry Pate, Jr.

Henry "Clyde" Pate, Jr., age 78, passed away peacefully at his home in Fayetteville, Ga. on October 1, 2014, after a brave battle with cancer.

He was born March 15, 1936 in Anderson, S.C., the son of late Henry "Clyde", Sr. and Eleanor Pate and was the oldest of 4 brothers. He attended the University of South Carolina and served in the South Carolina National Guard. Read More»

Mrs. Lolita Vivas, of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away on October 3, 2014.

She was born on February 12, 1964, in the city of Judibana, Falcon State, Venezuela. She was the second of three children and grew up in Maracay. After graduating High School, she decided to become a Dentist.

Loly moved to the neighbor city of Valencia where she attended the University of Carabobo, graduating with High Honors. She maintained her private practice in Maracay while also teaching pathological anatomy at the university in Valencia. Read More»

Mrs. Laurlene "Billie" Stone, 91, of Fayetteville, Ga., died September 30, 2014.

She was a faithful member of Lisbon Baptist Church. She was born October 18, 1922 in Marshall County, Ala. to the late Z.D. Burgett and Vera Heard.

Christine Parker Newton, 81, of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away October 1, 2014.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy “JC” Newton of Fayetteville;  brothers  Harry (Charlotte) Parker of Fairburn;  Edward (Jill) Parker of Fort Myers, Fla;  sister Judy (Robert) Hitchcock of Forest Park and two nephews.

A funeral service was held Friday October 3, 2014 at noon at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Pastor Randy Wood officiated. The family received friends Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Dorothy Irene Schultz, 83, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away October 3, 2014. She was a long time member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Schultz.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Schultz of Peachtree City; son Rick (Judy) Schultz of Peachtree City; and sister Mary Petrick of Akron, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City.
