Mary Jo Kachman of 237 Cedar Trail, Jonesboro Ga. in Fayette county passed away September 16, 2014.

She was born in Kansas City, Mo. August 22, 1945.

Mary Jo lived in Fayette County for 31 years and worked for attorney Larry M. Melnick in Jonesboro, Ga. She enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with her children.

She is survived by husband Richard Kachman, daughter April Denise Boham, Richard Joseph Kachman, grandson Joshua Boham and granddaughter Rayn Elizabeth Cooper.

Mrs. Glenda J. Grant, age 70 of Brooks, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Mrs. Grant was born in Griffin, Ga. on July 14, 1944. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Lee Phillips and Elsie Foster Phillips; brothers, Claude Phillips and Wilbur Phillips. Mrs. Grant was retired from Kroger, and was a member of North Griffin Congregational Holiness Church.

He served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Air Force and later was a pilot for Delta Airlines.

He is survived by his wife Martha; sons Brandon and Devon Graves; sisters Barbara Glaser, Martha Moore and Betty Backfield; brother James Graves and several nieces and nephews.
