Mrs. Mary Ruth Coogler, 89, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013.

She was born and raised in Fayette County.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oliver and their son, Ray.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Ray) Mitchell of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Patricia, Billy, Jay, Jamie, Trent and Stephanie; 10 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

James "Jimmy" Marquez died peacefully in his Peachtree City, Ga. home on Feb. 15, 2013 after a long illness.

He was a Veteran of the Korean War.

He was born in New York, N.Y. on April 19, 1932 to Jaime and Carmen Marquez. Jimmy was an avid golfer, dancer and skilled player of the maracas.
