Mr. Harold Calvin Turner, of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away on June 1, 2012 at the age of 80.

Mr. Turner was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country in the Korean conflict. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a devoted Christian and longtime member of the New Hope Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He believed in manners, and made certain that his sons did as well. James "Jim" L. Friday, Sr., 73, of Peachtree City, passed away on May 14, 2012.

He was born in Birmingham, Ala., in 1939, graduated from Lee High School in Jacksonville, Fla. in 1957. He then entered the U.S. Navy in 1957, serving aboard submarines until 1966.
