Mrs. Wanda Burgess, 74, of Senoia, died October 8, 2010.

She was born May 8, 1936 in Morgan County, Kentucky, the youngest daughter of ten children. Her love for children was exhibited by her thirty years of service as a nationally certified preschool teacher. Mr. Lawrence "Larry" K. Whalley, of Peachtree City, died October 8, 2010.

He was born in Danvers, MA on December 19, 1932. He enjoyed a career as a pilot in the United States Air Force, serving for a year in Vietnam. Mr. Christopher Allan Renfroe, 35, of Peachtree City, passed away on October 7, 2010. Mr. Renfroe enjoyed collecting knives, baseball cards and cigars. He practiced judo, loved bodybuilding, as well as riding his motorcycle.

Colonel James Charles Cannon, a Signal Corps decorated communications officer, passed away on Saturday, September 25th. The retired US Army officer proudly served his country for 27 years and was 65 years old when he died.

Jim, “Jeeves” to his daughter, was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin August 12, 1945 and was the second oldest of four children. Jim’s father and youngest brother were also Army men so it was no surprise he would follow suit.
