This Saturday, June 19 is the first Market Day event of 2010, so come and join Fayetteville Main Street as they welcome everyone to the Gazebo in Downtown Fayetteville and browse through a variety of vendors showcasing their homemade and homegrown products.  Everything from jewelry, jellies, flowers, and birdhouses to organic vegetables are available for sale to the public.  The Market opens at 10 a.m. and will close at 2 p.m.  Subsequent Market Days will be held on the third Saturday of every month, now through September, and on the fourth Saturday of October. The Southern Nights Chorale presents its sixth season-ending “Friends & Family Concert” on Friday, June 18. The Chorale will introduce its 2010 repertoire, which includes special crowd-pleasers “Ezekiel Saw the Wheel” and “Hallelujah! We Shall Rise!” You will also hear such perennial favorites as “You Raise Me Up,” “Joshua Fit De Battle of Jericho,” and the “Manly Men Extravaganza.”

Peachtree City Civic Ballet Company presents a family ballet, “Pixie Dust and Fairy Dreams” on Saturday June 5 at Our Lady of Mercy High School at 1 p.m. The ballet is designed to introduce children to the art of dance with ticket prices of just $5.
