The signature holiday for Peachtree City kicked off in grand style this morning with the annual July 4 parade on south Peachtree Parkway. From decked-out golf carts to businesses' banana and gator mascots, the parade was a sight to behold. Some of the more stunning floats were faux boats, including entries from Delta Community Credit Union and the Fayette County Local Issues Tea Party.

Why was that Cadillac so quiet?
The red Cadillac carrying the mayor was a beautiful car, but I wonder why it was so quiet. Is it possible to tune an engine that old to run that perfectly? Or is it just a Cadillac body riding on an electric car?
