Fulton fire capt. busted for selling cocaine in FayetteFri, 03/30/2007 - 11:33am
By: John Munford
A captain with the Fulton County Fire Department was arrested by undercover drug agents Thursday night for selling powder cocaine, officials said. Bruce Bostick, 56, was arrested around 6 p.m. at a gas station in north Fayette County after selling powder cocaine to an undercover agent of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department’s Drug Task Force. Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Pruitt said the DTF had been working the case for about a month and was aware of his employment, which extends for 20-plus years with the Fulton County Fire Department “instead of being a regular old street dealer.” Bostick, who lives in Clayton County, faces one felony count of selling cocaine. Pruitt declined to detail how much cocaine was bought by the undercover agent in the transaction that led to Bostick’s arrest. login or register to post comments
