I hope you all understand that this is not isolated. I see and deal with soldiers like Sgt. Jimenez daily. We have to do something. What can YOU do to help?

8.) My School In Indonesia Was Christian - NOT EXACTLY, you were registered as Muslim there and got in trouble in Koranic Studies for making faces (check your own book). February 28, 2008. Kristoff from the New York Times a year ago: Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it'll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as 'one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.' This is just one example of what Pamela is talking about when she says 'Obama's narrative is being altered, enhanced and manipulated to whitewash troubling facts.'

AlarminglyCorrect: Palin/Hillary comparison

It is interesting to read the reprint of the "Alaskan" who thinks Palin is no Hillary. She is correct. Palin would not have put up with 20+ years of infidelites.

sniffles5: Sarah Palin/BOB LENOX comparison?

sniffles5's picture

Sarah Palin is a younger, prettier version of Bob Lenox!

In 1996, when Sarah Palin was elected mayor in Alaska, the town had no general indebtedness. The first thing she did was cozy up with developers. They concocted a plan build a massive hockey center complex....they argued the town would make a lot of money hosting tournaments and such. The hockey center would pay for itself...eventually.

Rove, O'Reilly, Hannity - Hypocrites

1) Rove slams Governor (fill in the blank) for being small-time Mayor of smallish city, saying VP pick would be purely political.

Palin’s speech – no home run

Gov Sarah Palin’s performance last night was not a home run. It was a Grand Slam.

McCain Campaign Strategy: In a masterful stroke (reminiscent of Bill Clinton’s successful co-opting of numerous key Republican issues in his successful bid for the Presidency), McCain’s VP pick has successfully co-opted Obama’s message of “change”. McCain’s campaign strategists must be commended. They have not wasted time on Obama’s weaknesses. They have successfully undermined his perceived strengths. They turned his popularity into a liability. Now the Dems “change” message rings hollow. All words. No deeds.

AlarminglyCorrect: All this talk about rednecks....

Maybe we should start refering to Obama as a "black neck". Or , perhaps, better yet, a "half-black neck". Isn't he the first half black guy to be nominated? I mean, I know the Demmies don't want you to think about the white girl in Obama's skeleton filled closet.

and you'll never guess the reason.

Because I have a temporary tag on my car - dated Oct. 18, 2008.

The officer approached and asked for license and insurance, no problem. I politely (I grew up around law enforcement, I know my manners) asked why I was being stopped. She gave a - don't ask me questions attitude - which I know is part of the game. She said she would explain when she came back. Fair enough. I knew I wasn't speeding or anything.

Thomas Sowell: A knock or a boost?

Thomas Sowell's picture

Since Governor Sarah Palin’s daughter is not running for election this year, it is amazing how much the media has suddenly become obsessed with her. Her pregnancy not only made the front page of the New York Times, a printed announcement of her pregnancy stayed at the bottom of the television screen on CNN for what seemed to me to be about an hour or more.
