It’s been four years since Big Daddy’s Oyster Bar opened its doors in Peachtree City and in those years the eatery has evolved into an establishment that prides itself on great food and a fun atmosphere for grown ups.

Fayetteville Christian plans mission trip
Members of Fayetteville Christian Church are planning a mission trip to Acuna, Mexico Oct. 5-9 to build a house with Casas por Christo. Eleven members of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville will travel to Jamaica this Saturday for a week of ministry with Praying Pelican Missions. The group will partner with Westgate Hills Baptist Church to support the Montego Bay suburb, encourage the church, and build relationships with the local people. The group will stay from July 18 through July 24.

Best-selling Christian author Beth Moore will deliver a message to an estimated 90,000 women Aug. 28 and 29 from Green Bay, Wis. Local residents will have the opportunity to see the event live without leaving Fayette County .

The Lighthouse Church’s children raised over $400 during their Vacation Bible School for the Mississippi Gulf Coast recovery project.
