Students can register for on-line courses at Ga. colleges
Early registration for a limited selection of on-line college freshman and sophomore year core curriculum courses, "eCore," will continue until Dec. 15 through Georgia GLOBE (Global Learning On-line for Business and Education). Late registration will be Jan. 25. If students have been accepted at a Georgia GLOBE affiliate institution, they can register for eCore on-line classes on the web site at www.georgiaglobe.org, or by calling 1-888-404-2740. The following colleges and universities are Georgia GLOBE affiliate institutions: Clayton College & State University, Columbus State University, Floyd College, State University of West Georgia, and Valdosta State University. Students attending a college or university that is not a GLOBE affiliate may be eligible to enroll in eCore courses as transient students. The transient permission form can be downloaded from the web site. A link to GA EASY, the Georgia Applications and Electronic Advisor System on the GLOBE web site, allows students to apply for admission to affiliate institutions via the Internet. Georgia GLOBE is the University System of Georgia's distance initiative and offers one-step access to information and registration for on-line courses in a number of areas.
