| Suit unfair
to SCHS's Rabold
This letter is written in regards to the law suit against SCHS, and [Principal Roy] Rabold. I don't know exactly what happened to Mr. Daniel Mays or anyone else involved in this "conflict." I only know what I have read, but I DO know what kind of man Mr. Rabold is. He was the assistant principle when I attended McIntosh High School [through June 1991]. Mr. Rabold back then was a wonderful person and an outstanding example for the student body. He stood up for what he thought was right, he gave kids a second chance, and he was fair! He always had the punishment fit the crime in cases of disciplinary action. He always took care of someone when they needed help, and he always was for teaching and learning vs. kicking out the trouble makers. Mr. Rabold didn't care if you were the biggest bird in the cage, or the slimiest worm on the road, he wanted to make everyone equal. I remember him as a man that would give you a chance or two, and then if you didn't "get on track" he would discipline you (again, and again, and again). He would rather discipline kids multiple times and keep them in school vs. kicking kids out of school. I do not think that a man like Mr. Rabold deserves the ill-intentions of an angry parent in a situation like this. Why don't the parents of the "abused" attack the "attackers" and their families? Why do you bother, hurt, and hinder someone that is looking out for your child or at least trying his best to do so? Mr. Rabold has about 1,200 students to watch after. I have two children, whom I homeschool. I couldn't imagine doing what I do with more than what I have. If I ever sent my kids to a public school, I would make sure that they went to one where Mr. Rabold was the principal (or at least someone with his ideals).
