CDM sets final workshops in series Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) has announced the final two workshops in its series to be held Saturday, March 15 and Monday, March 24. The March 15 workshop, "Prayer: It IS the Ministry," will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will be taught by Mary Simpson, an ordained minister. A small handout fee will be charged. Simpson was involved in leadership at Church on the Way with Pastor Jack Hayford, where she was a member for 15 years. In recent years she has traveled with missions teams to the Philippines, Hong Kong, Macao, Zimbabwe and South Africa, training leaders in prayer. The March 24 workshop, "Business: What It Takes to Succeed," will be from 7-9 p.m. and will be taught by Tom Pedersen, a 1997 retiree of a Fortune 500 company. Pedersen developed a wide range of management skills through his varied assignments in sales, marketing and as a project leader.
