New Fayette manager named

Atlanta Gas Light Company a subsidiaryof AGL Resources, recently named Jesse Killings as region manager overseeing operations in Clayton, Fayette, Henry and south Fulton counties. He will manage AGLC’s service center in Riverdale, which delivers natural gas to approximately 180,000 meters in the four-county market.

Killings, who has been with AGLC for 11 years, will oversee 55 employees and is responsible for the centers’ daily operations, which include pipeline operation and maintenance, customer service, emergency response and repairs as well as meter installation and reading.

For the past four and a half years, Killings has been region manager for the Newnan/Griffin service area. Prior to that, he served in various capacities for the company, including as industrial engineer, firm industrial representative and commercial markets supervisor.

While AGLC’s Newnan/Griffin region manager, Killings served as campaign chairman for the United Way of Coweta County in 2002 and 2003. He was on the board of the Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity and the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce.

Killings received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Tuskegee University in 1992. He and his wife, Brigitte, have been married for seven years and have two young children.
