Frantz a Fayette first

Newly commissioned Ensign Natalie Frantz is the first female from Fayette county to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy. She was nominated and sponsored by U.S. Rep. Mac Collins during her four years at the Naval Academy.

Natalie earned a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and will be attending the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, Calif., to obtain a master’s degree. Upon completion of the school she will report to the USS Milius DDG 69, a destroyer homeported in San Diego, Calif.

Ensign Frantz is a graduate of McIntosh High School and the youngest female member of the American Legion Post 105 in Fayetteville.
