Charter School petitions deadline is October 14

Charter school petitions for the 2005-06 school year are being accepted by the Fulton County School System. The deadline to submit petitions for potential start-up and conversion petitions is 2:30 p.m. October 14.

Information on charter schools and petition requirements is posted at the Georgia Department of Education web site at http://www.doe.k12.ga.us/schools/charterschools/.
