Local book signing set for Saturday

Book illustrator Joyce Revoir of Newnan will be signing books Saturday, Dec. 11, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Shenanigans Toys in Peachtree City. The event celebrates the arrival of the new Alpha-kidZ books “Austin Alligator,” “Benny Bear,” and “Claude and Callie Cat.”

Alpha-kidZ features one book and learning lesson for each letter of the alphabet.ÊRevoir illustrated the books written by Cindy G. Foust.

Revoir lives in Newnan with her husband and two daughters and has designed and illustrated for publishing companies and the music industry for more than 15 years. In December 2003, author Cindy G. Foust and Revoir (also best friends) launched Alpha-kidZ, a publishing company that teaches reading and reasoning skills to children. Alpha-kidZ has hosted a free StoryTime Tour to more than 150 schools and libraries.

Free coloring sheets will be available for kids at the event. Shenanigans Toys, owned and operated by Debra and Chris Thompson, is at The Avenue at the intersection of Ga. highways 54 and 74.
