Sail Away with Rotary Club of Peachtree Citys Annual LobsterFest BenefitAll-you-can eat lobster tails, filet mignon, music, dancing, and fabulous door prizes set the stage for The Rotary Club of Peachtree Citys annual LobsterFest Benefit on May 14 at 6:30 p.m.. Proceeds from the popular event will be used to support Fayette Senior Services and the Floy Farr Alzheimers Foundation. LobsterFest last year realized more than $6,000 to benefit these two organizations. LobsterFest 2005 will be held at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds and Exhibition Center. This years nautical theme will transform the venue into the Fayette Yacht Club and promises to be an event extravaganza. The regatta-style party will be catered by The Village Café. Tickets for the event are $75 per person. Sponsor opportunities are available and include reserved tables, advertising, and a variety of other sponsor benefits. The Floy Farr Alzheimers Foundation is a Rotary Club of Peachtree City Foundation and a tribute to one of Peachtree Citys most distinguished citizens,Floy Farr. Farr has been recognized and honored by a host of national and local organizations, including the Alzheimers Association, for his gallant and tireless work and support. The foundation provides funding to find a cure for Alzheimers and other age related diseases, and to provide seed money for future Alzheimer charity events, including the annual Memory Walk.
