Along with the "your for you're" and "to for too", not to mention all the misspellings whether from ignorance or intentional use (possibly to disguise inherrant stupidity), now I'm seeing "THEN for THAN" and "QUITE" when the word is obviously meant to be "QUIET", from bloggers whom I assumed to be of above average intelligence. Why do we, who profess to be so danged smart, show our lack of knowledge on every stinking blog we write (or is it "right")?

I went to the Villages Ampitheatre Saturday night to see(again) The Medallions and they were great. Played their hit(s) and a lot of their contemporaries music. The last time they visited, toward the end of the show, they played a lot of new music which did not please us. This visit, however, they stuck to the 60's and 70's and it was very groovy. Did anyone else attend? If not, you missed a great show.

A couple or more of our "lonely hearts club" start with the "hello luv, how are you? I'm good babydoll, how's your mom and them? They's good, how's yourns? Oh all good here, have you heard from Superiorintellect42, they haven't sent out the valentine love cards yet? Oh they's been shoppin', you know: trying to find a new brain." etc. etc. etc. and ad infinitum. (fills me with the urge to defecate).

If anyone else is having trouble, what gives? It seems very difficult to get signed in these days. Or, is it just me?

I overheard a co-worker ,this morning, say to another "sorry, I lied" refering to a previous statement about which he was incorrect. This reminded me of, among many others, my second wife. She would often use the "sorry, I lied" remark whenever she was incorrect. I often pondered the use of this phrase when she was simply wrong about something. I soon realized she, like all the others, would rather be thought of as a liar than to be understood to be just plain wrong.

Sorry about that, but you people always give me such a good laugh. I mean, c'mon, do you really take yourselves this seriously? Let us see; we have one member who changes handles whenever it suits, but keeps spewing the same nonsense.
