The Brooks United Methodist Church Music Department will present its annual Christmas Cantata once again in full Symphony Orchestra format featuring the Adult Chancel Choir and Orchestra along with youth soloists Taylor Beeland and Amelia Pearch on Sunday December 16 at 7:00 PM. This year’s performance is entitled “Canticle of Christmas” and features several traditional carols and hymns as well as some original compositions by Tom Fettkee and Camp Kirkland. From the powerful sound of “O Holy Night” to the somewhat comical and broadway style presentation of “The Three Shepherds”, this year’s cantata is sure to include something for everyone. Come and join us for this annual gift of music to our community. The performance is free, but be sure to arrive early as parking is limited.
