Georgia Toastmasters Week April 27th
Annual Spring Conference May 2nd - 3rd
Governor Sonny Perdue to proclaim the week of April 27 – May 3, 2008 as
TOASTMASTERS WEEK in the State of Georgia. For over 80 years Toastmasters
International has helped millions throughout the world develop public speaking and leadership skills. For many people the fear of public speaking is the greatest obstacle. In today’s competitive business environment, strong technical and communication skills are often the keys to success.
The Georgia Toastmasters Week will be capped off with the District 14 (Georgia) Toastmasters Spring Conference on May 2nd and 3rd at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center.

The Peachtree City Running Club’s Annual Kid’s Fun Run has been schedule for Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater. Registration begins at 8:00 AM and the first of five races begins at 9:00 AM. Participation is limited to kids 12 years of age and under and is free to all participants.
