PTC Youth Basketball Association
The Peachtree City Youth Basketball Association (PTCYBA) will have registration for the 2009-10 season on August 22 - 23 and August 29 - 30 at Speed Sports Performance (formerly Velocity Sports Performance) at 611 Highway 74 South, Suite 810 in PTC. The best way to get there is off TDK Blvd. Registration is for boys and girls in grades 1 through 12 and the cost is $130 for Fayette county residents and $135 for out-of-county residents (checks and cash ONLY). Speed Sports Performance

Written by Tom Key & Russell Treyz with Music & Lyrics by Harry Chapin. This gem of musical theater adapts Clarence Jordan's "Cotton Patch" versions of the gospels of Matthew and John for the stage, transplanting the story of Jesus into the mid-20th century American South and considering what might have happened had Jesus been born in Georgia. Directed by Tom Key and produced in association with Georgia Ensemble Theatre, where the production will run an additional 3 weeks. Recommended for all ages. Weds. - Sats. at 7:30 pm; Sats. & Suns. at 2:30 pm. $35.
