I have a modest solution to the problem of the lights on Ga. Highway 74.

Until they are fixed with their sensors, why not act as if the lights are a four-way stop when no other traffic is present?

There are some western states that had this as part of their traffic laws in the past. Why sit and burn expensive gas when there is no reason to sit there and stare at a red light? Who has the brain in this situation?

I doubt that there would be any accidents since I said if there is no other traffic present. This is fairly common at night and on weekends.

My guess is that this would make too much sense to city officials to make it happen (legally).
