Classical Dance Theatre has announced its spring concert, “A Choreographer’s Showcase,” to be held Saturday, May 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sandy Creek High School auditorium in Tyrone, Ga.

The concert will feature performances by the Classical Dance Theatre students as well as guest performances by the Southeastern Ballet Company, a professional dance company located in Newnan, Ga.

The program will include a variety of dance styles including classical ballet, contemporary, flamenco, tap, modern and jazz pieces set to music including “Epiphany” by Staind, “En Vogue” by Bond, prelude from “Carmen” by Bizet and “Allegro Con Fuoco” by Tchaikovsky.

Funding for the Southeastern Ballet Company’s featured presentation of “A Choreographer’s Showcase” is supported in part by the Grassroots Arts Program of the Georgia Council for the Arts through appropriations of the Georgia Assembly and in partnership with Arts Clayton.
