Tyrone PD gets drug money

Tyrone Police Chief Brandon Perkins receives a check from Sheriff Randall Johnon Thursday for $79,615.51. The funds are Tyrone’s share of the drug seizure money that came from Operation Shooting Star, the 2006 DEA operation that included Fayette County Drug Task Force, with which Tyrone participates.
