When you heard about Dottie Rambo did they report it like what you said? I don't think so.

I doubt you even know who she is?

Do you ever show some compassion? Could you ever say I feel sad for her daughter? When you loose a parent it breaks your heart. Your life is changed.

To me this is a lady that loved her daughter and husband and God.

Dottie was a Christian. That is the best part of it all.

Go ahead and give me a nasty answer, say slow to calm yourself down.

I doubt that you know Dottie Rambo either.
The best thing to do about such a tragedy is to remain silent.
I only knew her from being on the Crouches TV show (Christian TV, PTL show). I think the Crouches are crooks and she would have enhanced her reputation by staying off there. They tke and waste people's money.
I can't and won't say anything bad about Miss Rambo, but I do know that the bus circuit to tent meetings etc., is not very christian. It is a money maker. Nearly all of those connected with that sort of making a living have had marital and tax problems, and it appears that Miss Rambo was also a victim of that.
I only watch enough of the televangelists to know what is going on for knowledge's sake, and I have no use for those who are obviously cronic, repeated sinners, and use hymns and their voice ability, and such, as a method of "salvation."

Wow. I didn't gather lack of compassion from sniffles. To me it was simple fact-stating.

In bpr's world, one doesn't report about Christin's divorces, crookedness, nor criticize such thugs as traveling bus preachers.
It is hard to know how these jokers sleep at night who use the Bible as their instruction book for getting rich or living a loose life.

I knew you would come to rescue your new coffee meeting friend every third week on Sat. Of course you would not find anything wrong with sniffles. You are known by the company you keep.

Anyone that will vote for your Obama is your friend.

Are you a little mad that I said I would not let my son be in your class? You have been hanging with sniffles and main for a while. That's your company.

Did sniffles email you or call you to get you to say what you did.

Sniffles did not show any compassion at all. That is sad when someone dies and you talk about it but you act like you don't care. That is sick.

I admire your desire to be more like Jesus. He was a compassionate man who reflected the love of God more than any other. He was often criticized for the company that he kept. In my opinion, he wanted to show all of us how to treat our neighbor. Bpr, share you opinions with your pastor. It is very difficult to be a 'good' Christian in my opinion - a journey that requires constant self-examination. Fortunately, God is not through with us yet - and we all are constantly growing. Thanks for sharing your opinion on how you live a Christian life. There are Christians who try to live their lives differently from what you express here. I'm sure you're familiar with what the Bible says about judging and judgment.

'all the time' is a lot! I don't think anyone has that much time. I won't bother you any more = and this I promise.

Jesus hung around prostitutes, the homeless, thieves and others of low morals. BAD JESUS, BAD! I am sure He'd have coffee with his neighbors if he was around in the era of Starbucks, too, no matter what it might have done to his "reputation." Sheesh.

The company you keep if you are not a Christian and even if you are a Christian if you take your eyes of Jesus then you begin acting like them.

Nuk I do hang around with people who are not Christians daily. That is my mission. I have to keep my eyes on Jesus or I could fail.

Jesus could hang with these type of people easy because He is God's Son.

Do you go to church? I have had alot of pastors that have said that.

BPR, why are you so quick to attack people? I've been a member for a VERY short time, however have followed this blog for quite some time.

Yeah, she is a tad unbalanced, but that is why we love her.

What did Sniffles say that was false? This is much the reporting that came after Johnny Cash's death. They reported the things that made him so interesting; good and bad. What's your beef?
